The plate umpire determines if the ball is "hittable". It does not mean it is a strike.

• WHEN A COACH IS PITCHING A FULL INNING:

- A BATTER WILL GET 7 PITCHES TO PUT THE BALL IN PLAY.
- No called strikes or balls. A batter can strikeout swinging.
• NO TEE, NO WALKS - THE RESULT IS EITHER A BALL IN PLAY OR A STRIKEOUT.
